On June 2, 2025, DOST-TAPI called a discussion to the SAGE Council members, including AHG Lab represented by our CEO, Rene Cuartero, to discuss the progress of council's initiatives. During the meeting, members also shared their ongoing commitments, potential projects, and possible contributions to the committee.
The meeting was led by Atty. Marion Ivy Decena, Director of the Technology Application and Promotion Institute (TAPI), and brought together key members of the SAGE Council. Notable attendees included representatives from the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL), the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), Ideaspace Ventures, and the University of the Philippines Institute for Small-Scale Industries (UP ISSI), among others. The gathering served as a platform for strategic discussions on strengthening innovation, commercialization, and collaboration within the local startup, regulatory body, and technology ecosystem.
At AHG Lab, we place great importance on cross-sector collaboration to actively support and strengthen the Philippine startup ecosystem. By building meaningful connections with a wide range of partners, we aim to remain well-positioned to foster innovation, drive collective growth, and secure support from other sectors.
